This adventure is nearly over and it has been utterly amazing. In two days, the trip home begins. A final couple of images to remember Verona by. The first is a typical day in class. Notice the smiles. Yes, immersing ourselves in Italian has been a lot of fun.
The next image is a favorite location along the Adige looking across the river to the ancient Roman Theater. While it is a site of archaeological significance, today it continues to be a venue for the arts for the city of Verona.
We’re going to miss the calmness of the city, the evening strolls, and the new friends. Perhaps someday we can return.
